March 2012. Canberra, Australia.
Canberra is far from being an exciting destination, but the annual hot air balloon festival is definitely worth seeing. The event is held as part of the Canberra Festival, and lasts for a week. During that time, every morning at around 6am, the crowd gathers near the old parliament house to observe the balloons being prepared for flying. But watching the balloons in the air is the most interesting part of the event.
