The biggest smiles in the world
February 2009. Bohol, The Philippines

I met this bunch of kids when motorbiking through the island of Bohol. I was heading towards the middle of the island where I was going to see The Cholcolate Hills. But it was a long way. I wanted to have some rest. I stopped in one of the villages on the way, the one with amazing old church built during the Spanish era. As soon as I approached the church those little guys appeared from nowhere. They were keen to play and chat. The latter proved to be a bit difficult, since the only words they knew in English were give me money. They repeated them like a mantra, surely something their mothers asked them to do each time they saw a foreigner. I bet they had no idea what they were saying, but just chasing me and repeating give me money seemed to be lots of fun for them.
